Tinker's Hill Bird of Prey & Swan Rescue Centre

Dear Friend,

The Tinkers Hill Trust was legally constituted in 2008 to raise funds and financially support The Bird Of Prey and Swan Rescue Centre at Tinkers Hill, Amroth.

The Rescue Centre has, for the last 20 years, been available on call for rescue - 24 hours a day,7 days a week, 365 days a year - funded principally by my husband David. There is no other regular funding. Some donations have been received and for these, we are very grateful.

To enable The Centre to continue to rescue, treat, care, rehabilitate and ultimately release, wildlife, Birds of Prey, Swans, Sea Birds and many other species of wildlife back to the wild, for all of us to admire and enjoy, it is essential that the costs for feed, bedding, utilities and fuel for rescues and veterinary fees are readily available. These are currently running at £6,000 per year.

To ensure that The Rescue Centre survives in these hard times, the work that we carry out and the research that has been established to continue, we need your help. Whatever you can contribute would be gratefully received.

Thank you for any help that you are able to give.

Maria Evans M.B.E., Chairperson, The Tinkers Hill Trust
